The CMI Fire-Resisting Security Filing Cabinet is an Australian-made storage solution designed to protect important documents, business records and confidential files from fire and unauthorised access. Manufactured by CMI Safe Co. and supplied by Askwith Safe Company, this cabinet combines fire-resistant construction, heavy-duty steel reinforcement and a digital locking system for commercial and office environments.
Designed to provide one-hour fire resistance, the cabinet features reinforced steel walls with a specialised mineral-based insulating compound. Its expanding perimeter gasket helps resist the entry of heat, smoke and water around the door. Additional security features include a 90 mm-thick door, 32 mm steel locking bolts, a glass-activated relocker and a digital lock powered by a 9V battery.
